Card index number #103. Some very minor corner/edge wear however the overall condition is fine. First example of this particular view I've seen.
VF condition with nice sharp corners. Publisher's index No.483; printer's index C.5863. Top card!
Close examination (easily done with a card of this resolution ... I scanned it at 600dpi and looked at it for ages!!) reveals that the card has been made from an older photo, probably c.1890 which may have been taken by the photographer's father who was also "H.H. Baily". Small peripheral fault near LR corner o/wise fine condition - top card!
Postally used in 1909 with 1d Pictorial franking. From Series G with index number "67454" - excellent condition. One of the best "close-up" cards with a Hobart double-decker tram.

Unusual "dual parentage" as card inscribed M&L (McVilly & Little) No.4 in LR corner. Fine condition and the first example that I have seen.
Interesting message about strike and lack of water and gas in Hobart - not postally used. Some minor peripheral wear but overall condition is excellent.

Photo by G. Gruncell - from Series C. Message dated 26/12/04 but mailed at Launceston (with 1d Pictorial franking) on 1/5/05. Excellent condition.
Undivided back. Used from Albany, Western Australia to New South Wales address - franking removed. Message written by passenger on White Star liner S.S. "Runic" on his way to Ireland. Scarce card in excellent condition.
