(QQ1250) AUSTRALIA · 1951 (March 28th): rare 'plain envelope' FDC with rubber stamp cachet produced by R. J Clark who was the secretary of the Tasmanian Philatelic Society at the time - T.P.S. return address applied under cachet. Envelope contains a receipt for membership dues.

Clark produced other similar covers around this time, all with the same cachet ..... this is the first item I have seen used on T.P.S. business. All other examples I have seen are addressed to Clark's brother at Moonah.
