(AT15008) TASMANIA · 1877: adopted essay by De La Rue for the ONE POUND Platypus embossed revenue on very light brown tracing paper with original "backing paper" · handstamped "22 MAR 77" at centre/top · fine condition · ex De La Rue archives auction. Essays for other values exist.
Light diagonal wrinkle o/wise in fine condition.
1877 1d. stamp size pencil sketch, essay, dated ''22.MAR.77'', on
tracing paper (80 x 111mm). In January 1877 Tasmania sent an order to De
La Rue
